Udupi is known for the temples and peaceful clean beaches. Unlike Goa, it is not a place where you can find luxury resorts. That being said, we were a bit skeptical if we would find a clean place to stay.

We were on a road trip in Karnataka, while returning to Pune, it started raining heavy. So, we decided to take a break in Udupi. And came across this beautiful stay at Sai Radhe Heritage Beach Resort.

The resort is located a few kms from main road and it’s a bit of a bumpy ride. But once you reach the resort, you’ll be surprised with the property & the views!

As you enter the room, you’ll be drawn to the balcony which is attached to your room at one end & the beach at the other end. At this place, you’ll actually be living on a beach!

The room is small but very clean & so are the washrooms. There’s a double bed, wardrobe, study table & chairs. A perfect work from home setup!

The entire architecture of the property is tastefully done with most of the rooms being beach facing.

The best part is their staff will serve you the food in your room, in the balcony or on the beach, wherever you want! So you can enjoy your tea & hot pakoras while sitting on the beach & watching the waves in peace.

When is comes to price, this property goes very easy on the pocket with just 3-4k per night for a deluxe beach facing room. If you book for a longer duration, you can as well get some discount. The food is also very reasonable. The options are limited in the menu but frankly, even the very basic food tastes heavenly in their overall setup :)

We would definitely recommend you to give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed and it will be very refreshing to spend some time with these mesmerising views ❤️
